"DC BRAU" Washington's  DC first packaging brewery since 1956,  has been very helpful to the Emerald Society the last few years and again this year. Thanks to Brandon Skall and Jeff Hancock for there help last year.  President Robert Hottinger and James Reilley presented the "Innkeepers Award" with the help of some the Emerald Society's beer aficionados with music from a contingent from the Pipes and Drums.

Anyone who has sent in their 3 year or lifetime membership recently, you may have noticed that you haven’t received your cards or decals yet. Your check should have cleared by now. The three year memberships will be sent out in the next couple of weeks. The life membership cards need to go to the printers, and will be sent out as soon as possible. All members that renewed have been updated in the database, and are current members. If you have any questions you can e-mail doug@dcfireman.com. Thanks.”

Wouldn't you like to get up-to-date messages from the Emerald Society?  Of course you would and all you have to do is send an e-mail to doug@dcfireman.com  and you will get messages about upcoming events, meeting reminders, and all sorts of vital information to make your Emerald Society experience all it can be. Please put your name in the email so that we know who you are. (some email are like, fireman@firefighter.net, now who the heck is that?)

 

 450 members are already members of the yahoo group. A lot of the e-mail addresses are no longer good, so send Doug your correct email address, and your name, and soon you will be part of an ever growing network of likeminded people.
